Pre-Release Evaluation • BETA User Terms of Use
PLEASE READ THESE BETA USER TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE INSTALLING, ACTIVATING, REGISTERING FOR, ACCESSING, OR USING THE SME FINANCE PRO BETA VERSION.
By activating or using the AccountsPro Manager BETA Application, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these BETA User Terms of Use (“BETA Terms”).
The BETA Application is a pre-release version made available for testing, evaluation, feedback, and product improvement. Although it provides access to Premium functionality, it is provided FREE OF CHARGE during the applicable BETA Period and may contain errors, defects, incomplete functionality, compatibility issues, interruptions, or other technical problems.
THE BETA APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. USERS MUST MAINTAIN VERIFIED BACKUPS OF THEIR DATA AND SHOULD NOT RELY EXCLUSIVELY ON THE BETA APPLICATION AS THE SOLE REPOSITORY OF IMPORTANT ACCOUNTING, PAYROLL, TAX, FINANCIAL, OR OTHER BUSINESS RECORDS.
These BETA Terms constitute a legal agreement between Logixtix Marketing Ltd, trading as AccountsPro Manager (the “Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), and the individual, company, business, organisation, or other entity accessing or using the BETA Application (the “BETA User”, “User”, “you”, or “your”).
The BETA Programme permits selected users to evaluate Premium functionality before or during the wider commercial release of the relevant software version and to assist the Provider in identifying defects, usability issues, compatibility problems, performance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
BETA participation is governed by these BETA Terms separately from the Provider’s ordinary AccountsPro Manager Terms of Use. A BETA User must be presented with these BETA Terms and must affirmatively accept them before or at the time of First BETA Activation.
Acceptance of the ordinary AccountsPro Manager Terms of Use does not, by itself, constitute acceptance of these BETA Terms. Likewise, acceptance of these BETA Terms does not replace any generally applicable terms, policies, or legal notices that continue to apply to use of the Application. The Provider retains a record of the BETA User’s acceptance, including the applicable version of these BETA Terms and the date and time of acceptance.
By joining the BETA Programme, the User expressly acknowledges and agrees that the User is participating as a BETA TESTER. The principal purpose of BETA access is to evaluate the Software in real-world use and help identify defects, errors, usability problems, and performance limitations.
The BETA User agrees to use the Application responsibly, to report material problems encountered during normal use, and to provide sufficient diagnostic information when reasonably requested. Participation as a BETA Tester does not guarantee that any particular feature will be completed, retained, or included in future commercial releases.
During the BETA Period, the Provider grants the BETA User a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the BETA Application for legitimate internal business purposes. Premium Functionality is provided free of charge during that period.
Free BETA access does not constitute a permanent Premium licence and does not create an entitlement to future free Premium access. The BETA User must not sell, sublicense, transfer, share, clone, circumvent, or otherwise misuse BETA access or licensing controls.
The BETA Period is exactly twelve (12) months from the BETA User’s First BETA Activation. For example, if the BETA Application is first activated on 17 August 2026, the BETA Period will expire on 16 August 2027.
There is no automatic paid subscription at the end of the BETA Period. Where the User wishes to continue using AccountsPro Manager without paying for Premium functionality after expiry, the User may request a Freemium licence key from the Provider, subject to the availability and terms of the Freemium version.
The BETA User acknowledges that the BETA Application may contain software bugs or defects, produce inaccurate or unexpected results, experience crashes or interruptions, contain incomplete or changing features, have compatibility or performance issues, and undergo substantial changes without prior notice.
Material BETA issues should be reported by email to [email protected]. The User should provide description of the problem, date/time, relevant screen, steps to reproduce, screenshots, and error messages. No guaranteed service-level agreement (SLA) applies to BETA Users.
The Provider may use feedback, bug reports, and recommendations voluntarily supplied by the BETA User for debugging, quality assurance, and product development. The Provider does not acquire ownership of the User’s Customer Data merely because the User submits feedback.
The User retains 100% ownership of its Customer Data. Under the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017, the User remains responsible for determining the lawful basis for processing personal information entered into the Application. The Provider shall not sell, rent, or trade Customer Data and shall not use Customer Data for advertising purposes.
The BETA User is solely responsible for maintaining appropriate, current, and verified backups of all accounting, payroll, tax, financial, and business records at least daily on an independent external drive, secondary server, or secure cloud storage.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Provider shall not be responsible for loss or corruption of Customer Data resulting from hardware failure, operating-system failure, power surge, malware, ransomware, accidental deletion, or failure to maintain backups.
AccountsPro Manager provides software calculation aids and is not a substitute for an accountant, tax adviser, payroll specialist, auditor, or lawyer. The User remains responsible for verifying accounting entries, tax calculations, payroll deductions, and compliance with Mauritian legislation before filing statutory returns with the MRA.
The Provider may issue updates, patches, fixes, or new BETA versions and may require installation of a new version to continue using the Application. Backward compatibility with every previous BETA version is not guaranteed.
BETA support is provided on a best-effort basis via email ([email protected]). No guaranteed telephone support or emergency response times are provided.
During the 3-month Free Premium BETA Evaluation Period, the Application displays non-intrusive sponsor banner advertisements and global system broadcast notices (similar to the Freemium Edition) to deliver partner promotions and critical regulatory/system announcements. Upgrading to a paid commercial license upon completion of the evaluation period removes all sponsor advertisements. Customer financial ledgers, tax computations, payroll records, NIC, and TAN numbers remain strictly confidential, locally processed, and are NEVER used for advertising or shared with advertising partners.
The Provider may collect account, device, application-version, diagnostic, and security information reasonably necessary to operate and improve the BETA Programme, handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and BETA Privacy Addendum.
All rights, title, and interest in AccountsPro Manager remain the exclusive property of Logixtix Marketing Ltd. Users shall not reverse engineer, decompile, modify, circumvent licensing controls, or create derivative works.
Unless authorized, the BETA User should not publicly distribute or disclose unreleased pre-release technical materials, non-public credentials, or proprietary source documentation.
THE BETA APPLICATION IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES ARE DISCLAIMED.
Because the Premium BETA Application is provided completely free of charge, the Provider’s aggregate monetary liability arising out of or relating to the BETA Programme shall, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, be limited to MUR 0 (Zero Mauritian Rupees).
The User agrees to defend and indemnify the Provider from third-party claims arising from unlawful use, fraudulent use, or intentional violation of statutory obligations.
The BETA User’s right to use the BETA Application continues for the 3-month BETA Period unless terminated earlier for breach or programme discontinuation.
At the end of the BETA Period, the User may request a Freemium License Key to continue using AccountsPro Manager subject to Freemium terms, or subscribe to a paid commercial tier.
Expiry does not transfer ownership of Customer Data. Users may download or retain backups in accordance with available export features.
Neither party shall be liable for delay or failure caused by natural disasters, cyclone warnings, power grid failures, submarine cable cuts, epidemics, or events beyond reasonable control.
These BETA Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Port Louis, Mauritius.
The Provider reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these BETA Terms upon written notice or via in-app broadcast announcement when releasing new updates or modifying programme conditions.
These BETA Terms, together with the AccountsPro Manager Master License Contract, Privacy Policy, and BETA Privacy Addendum, constitute the complete and exclusive agreement governing BETA participation, superseding all prior oral or written representations.

The Freemium and Free Premium BETA editions utilize cookies, device identifiers, and anonymous web telemetry to serve non-intrusive sponsor advertisements, measure click-through performance, and maintain application security. Upgrading to any paid commercial tier (Single User Commercial, M3U, M5U, or Enterprise) completely removes all third-party advertisements and disables ad-tracking telemetry.
Account registration and telemetry records are retained only as long as necessary for service provision, ad reporting, or statutory compliance. Because financial and payroll databases are stored locally on the Subscriber’s terminal, the Subscriber retains sole responsibility for maintaining regular offsite backups.
We implement robust technical and organizational measures to safeguard data in accordance with the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 (DPA). Users retain statutory rights to access, rectify, or request deletion of registration records held by the Provider by emailing [email protected].
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in ad technologies, legal obligations, or software features. Notice will be provided via in-app broadcast updates. For questions, contact Logixtix Marketing Ltd at [email protected].
Addendum to the AccountsPro Manager Privacy Policy
This BETA Privacy Addendum supplements the existing AccountsPro Manager Privacy Policy solely to address the free Premium BETA tier. If there is a conflict between this Addendum and the existing Privacy Policy concerning BETA Users, this Addendum shall apply to the extent of the conflict.
For BETA Users, the Provider may collect account details, including name, email address, company information, and BETA registration or activation information, as well as diagnostic and technical usage information reasonably required to operate and improve the BETA Programme.
The Provider processes the date and time of First BETA Activation in order to determine the twelve (12) month BETA Period and retain records of BETA acceptance and terms versioning.
When a BETA User reports an issue by email, the Provider may retain communications for debugging, quality assurance, and technical support. Users should remove or obscure unnecessary confidential, banking, TAN, or NIC numbers before submitting screenshots.
Technical, diagnostic, and usage feedback is used to identify software defects, evaluate performance, and improve future commercial releases. Analytics are aggregated or anonymised where practical.
The BETA Programme does not change the User’s ownership of Customer Data. Financial ledgers, tax records, payroll records, NIC, TAN, customer, and supplier records remain strictly under the User’s control and are NEVER sold, rented, traded, or used for third-party advertising.
The Free Premium BETA tier displays sponsor banner advertisements and system update notifications. Anonymous impressions and click interactions are tracked solely for campaign delivery performance. Customer Data, company ledgers, employee details, and tax records are strictly isolated locally and are never accessible to or shared with advertising partners.
Infrastructure or hosting providers process information only to the extent reasonably necessary to provide backend services subject to strict contractual standards.
BETA account, registration records, hardware binding identifiers, and telemetry diagnostics are retained for the duration of the BETA Programme and as long as reasonably required to administer testing evaluations, provide updates, or satisfy applicable statutory compliance obligations.
In accordance with the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 (DPA), BETA Users maintain statutory rights to access, rectify, restrict processing of, or request erasure of their personal registration records by sending a written request to [email protected].
The Provider reserves the right to amend or update this BETA Privacy Addendum in tandem with software release evolutions or revised regulatory requirements. Material revisions will be notified via in-app broadcast alerts.
